YIN Fengxiang and CHEN biaohua has recently published the research paper “Engineering Fe-Fe3C@Fe-N-C Active Sites and Hybrid Structures from Dual Metal-Organic Frameworks for Oxygen Reduction Reaction in H2-O2 Fuel Cell and Li-O2 Battery” in Advanced Functional Materials which is one of the top chemistry journals. This work not only expands the application of metal-organic frameworks in energy conversion and storage, but also provides a new way to develop high-efficiency, low-cost non-precious metal catalysts to replace precious metal-based catalysts. It also promotes the commercialization of hydrogen-oxygen fuel cells and lithium-air batteries.
